PAPER PRESENTATION THEMES:

 Innovation in the field of Mechanical and Civil Engineering. Disaster management
For Paper Presentation : Two students per paper are allowed. With a fee of 100/head

INSTRUCTIONS:

Abstract should be in IEEE format and should not exceed 250 words. It should be submitted on or before 24 Feb.2016 and mailed to aerisaero16@gmail.com. All abstract will be scrutinized by the Technical committee. Abstract selected will be informed to the presenters on or before 26 Feb. 2016.

Full length paper has to be submitted after being selected on or before 28 Feb 2016.Presentation material should be in power point presentation (PPT). Duration for presentation will be 10 minutes followed by a Q&A segment. The Technical  committee will select the paper for presentation and judge’s decision will be final for the award of prize.
  • Bring your paper in CD/USB drive for your presentation
  • Bring two hard copies of full paper during presentation
  • Maximum two authors per paper.
  • Let presentation be in ppt.
  • Any audio support needed must be intimated earlier.
TRUSS CONSTRUCTION

CONSTRUCTION OF AERO. PARTS Eg. FUSELAGE, WING etc. USING ICE CREAM STICKS.
(50 STICK PER TEAM)
In a team 2 members are allowed with a fee of 100/head

AEROMODELLING

Rubber band powered airplane competition. Kit will be provided for the Team of Two members.
Reg.Fee for this Event : 350/Team
(Certificate,Lunch,Refreshments,Kit will be provided)

Rules on Team structure
Maximum of 4 members in a team
Members of a team may be from same college or different.
Any number of teams can participate from one Institution.
Professionals are not allowed (Only students can participate)

Design Constraints

T/W =0.75 (if excess thrust is found, it will be neutralized by adding weight below the plane at center of gravity)
Battery weight should not be more than 120 gm
The use of IC engines is prohibited. Only electrical motors are allowed
One of the team members should fly the aircraft and another should call the stunts as they are performed (just before)

Abstract Submission

All the participants need to submit an abstract on their aircraft, which would be a no longer than 15 pages (A4 size 1.5 line spacing) long with standard formatting. The Abstract would document the basic design of the aircraft (dimensions, wing areas, velocity, etc.) and would also explain how their design is suitable for given problem.

Format of the Competition

The competition requires the participants to design and fabricate a RC plane and perform a set of maneuvers. Propellers, Motors, ESC, Servos, Receiver and Transmitter are allowed as off-the-shelf items.

Participants will need to bring their aircraft and all necessary equipment to this venue. The arena will be an open ground. There will be two rounds of the competition.

Rules

Each team would be given 2 chances for each of the rounds and the best score is considered as per the scoring procedure mentioned above for each round
The timer will start from the moment the aircraft is in the air for both the rounds.
Bring your college/student I-Card at the time of competition.
All the systems (Servos, motor, etc.) will be checked by organizers for functionality before the competition. If found not working, teams will be dismissed from the competition.

DAY 2

SHORT FILM FESTIVAL
NO THEMES, OPEN TOPIC.
(DURATION: 15 TO 20 mins)

BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY
BEST FILM

Instructions

Note: Its a short film screening competition not a documentary film competition.

The duration of the short film should be within 15-20 minutes including title, end cards and credits.
Any video format playable is allowed.

No vulgarity or religion based or caste based contents are allowed. Movie exceeding 15 mins will be rejected during screening. Judges decision is final for the award of winners.

Only movie director is authorized to register for the event along with another technician who worked in the movie. Director of the movie must be available during screening and registration.
Prior registration is required,No spot registration is allowed.

REGISTRATION FEE: 
200/Film (max.two persons can participate) Short films made in the year 2015 or 2016 only can be screened.
