ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Dear Viewers KCG COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY Conducting National Level Workshop. Welding is a major production process in fabrication work. Welding technology has the power to make the world a better place. High quality welded components enable industries and governments to increase the life cycle of their assets at a lower maintenance cost, with improved environmental health and safety impacts. Welding technology has foot in almost all manufacturing sectors.
Welding process has become more challenging with the development of new materials and demand of variety of factors such as high quality, high efficiency, low cost and saving in labour. A thorough understanding of the basic processes, equipments, consumables and automation is required to do further study to improve the quality of the component and control the defects.
This workshop is primarily meant for competent employees from the engineering industries, researcher’s in the area of welding, faculty members and student who wish to understand the welding
technology thoroughly and know the latest developments in the field of welding.
In this workshop, experts having varied and rich experience and academic institutions will deliver
lectures in welding and application of NDT.
