ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Dear Viewers SSN COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING Conducting National Level Workshop. This workshop focuses on enlightening the persons who wish to know the basics of Image
processing, and for scholars doing research in the area of image and video processing. Image
analysis and video processing has been a tremendously active area of research for the past
decade or so.
There are many successful applications of image processing such as Biometrics,
Remote Sensing, Seismology, Medical Image Analysis, Object detection and tracking,
etc., However, there are numerous open problems in Image analysis and video processing
that are in desperate need of advanced and efficient computing techniques to deal with tremendous
amounts of problems that those problems are plagued by.
OBJECTIVES
To give an exposure on the fundamental and advanced concepts in the field of image and
video processing and to motivate the participants to involve research in the direction and use
computing techniques to improve the learning process.
