ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP

Dear Viewers SRI RAMAKRISHNA ENGINEERING COLLEGE Conducting Internship Program. The internship will provide exposure in interdisciplinary areas of Science, Engineering and Technology in broad areas like Mechanical,

Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, Biotechnology, Medical, Agricultural and Basic Sciences. The event will be an eye opener for those who are interested in stepping into the nanoworld.

The program will cover keynote address by an expert member followed by technical presentations from the faculty members of the Department of Nanoscience and Technology.

The participants will attain exclusive hands on experience in the following sections:
  • Training on Nanomaterials synthesis and demonstration of DC sputtering
  • Laboratory experimentations in the Advanced Materials Synthesis Laboratory
  • Basic training and hands on usage of the characterization tools namely XRD, AFM, DLS, UV Visible, FTIR, Electro Chemical Workstation and Solar Simulator.
The hands on experience will provide an insight for taking up their project work in the area of Nanoscience and Technology.

 CHARACTERIZATION FACILITIES AND TESTING SERVICES
  • The Department affords testing services for a nominal charge. X-Ray Diffraction with Small Angle X-Ray Scattering & Polycrystalline thin
  • film detectors, Atomic Force Microscopy, UV-Visible Spectroscopy with Diffuse Reflectance Spectroscopy, Particle Size Analysis, Zeta
  • Potential Analysis, Attenuated Total Reflectance-Fourier Transform Infra Red Spectroscopy, Electrochemical Workstation, Solar Simulator and DC Sputtering
