SCOPE AND OBJECTIVE
Dear Viewers NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY Conducting workshop. This workshop aims at imparting the scientific and research oriented knowledge on utilization of Energy resources.
This course will cover solar energy, Bio-energy and its applications and the status of R&D in this field in India. This workshop will have an impact among the researchers and student community in the area of solar energy and Bio –energy sources and its applications
COURSE CONTENTS
- Energy storage for solar Energy
- Solar Concentrated Technology for steam Generation
- Solar Photovoltaics for power Generation
- Bioenergy from solid waste
Lectures will be delivered by resource persons from Anna University, CECRI and Research
Organizations.
ELIGIBILITY
Faculty members from Technical Institutions, Research scholars, PG students, Professionals working in Industry and Government Organizations are eligible to attend the course.

Application for participation in the workshop shall be sent to the coordinator as given in the attached
format along with the registration fee of Rs. 110/- for Academicians/Research scholars and Industrial

The participants are also requested to confirm their participation in the workshop by sending an e-mail to any of the coordinators on or before 19.07.2016 Registration fee includes: Food and Course
Material Accommodation will be provided in the institute hostel/guest house on payment basis.
No TA/DA will be paid to the participants.
