About the Seminar
Dear Viewers NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY TIRUCHIRAPPALI. This seminar is organized as a remembrance of birth anniversary of Prof.Karl Von Terzaghi well known as the father of modern geotechnology. Existence of Soft soil deposit is a major challenge to the geotechnical professionals and an understanding of the specific characteristics of these soils is crucial.
The seminar aims to present an appraisal of the current state of the art and new advances in soft ground engineering practice. This seminar will present best practices, innovative solutions and relevant case histories in the field of soft ground engineering.

Practitioners, Consultants, Personnel from implementation Agencies and Industries associated with Building and Pavement construction, Academicians and researchers working in the area of geotechniques.
