ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Dear Viewers SRI VENKATESWARA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING Conducting Workshop. The aim of this workshop is to provide the participants with the design of state feedback controller (SFB) for power electronics and power systems applications. The desired system response is achieved by placing the closed loop poles in predetermined locations of s- plane.
This workshop presents an overview of state space model of Electrical machines, Power converters and Power system networks. The state feedback controller is to be designed and validated with a case study using MATLAB software.
TOPICS TO BE COVERED
- State space modelling of Electrical machines (DC motor, Servo motor, Induction motor etc.)
- SFB design for Servo motor.
- SFB design for Power Converters.
- SFB design for Power Electronic based Drive.
- SFB design for Load Frequency Control of single area Power System
- SFB design for Load Frequency Control of multi area Power System
REGISTRATION FEE
Ph.D Scholars/Students/ Faculty Members : Rs 500
This fee includes workshop kit, lunch and refreshments. Admission shall be based on first come first-served basis.
The registration fee must be submitted in the form of a crossed demand draft drawn in favor of ‘The Principal, Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering’, payable at Sriperumbudur. The demand draft must be sent accompanied with the registration form duly signed by the concerned authorities.

ACCOMMODATION & TRANSPORT
The participants have to make their own arrangements for travel. However accommodation facility would be arranged on request if information is given in advance. No TA/DA will be provided.
