ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Dear Viewers S.A. ENGINEERING COLLEGE Conducting National workshop. Writing an effective paper either for a conference or for a journal poses extensive hardships to the enterprising researchers because it requires appropriate contents, innovative ideas, experimentation, testing and validation of results, appropriate language and style which include writing skills and better presentation. The one day national workshop on “How to Write Effective Research Papers for Conferences and Journals” will provide a unique experience of writing effective research paper to the participants.
CONTENTS OF THE WORKSHOP
- Types of research paper (Original research, review, technical note, etc.,)
- Structure of a research paper (Abstract, introduction, experimental/theoretical, results)
- Language and Style
- Expectations of Journals
- In-Text Citations and Reference formatting
- Paraphrasing instead of Plagiarizing
- Choosing Conferences & SCI Journals
- h-index, i10-index, Scopus citation index, Google scholar citations & Impact factor
- Avoiding the duplication of a PhD research topic, using plagiarism software with demo.
- Online submission of research papers and Elsevier editorial system and tracking the status of the paper.

- Academicians intending to do / doing research and Final year UG and PG Students of various Engineering can attend.

Accommodation is available for outstation participant with pre request on chargeable basis.The total number of participants is restricted to 50 only. The participants are selected on first come first
serve basis only.
