INTRODUCTION

              Dear viewers Institute of Indian Foundrymen – SKCET Students Chapter & Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology  conducting national level workshop. This workshop provides a platform for young scientists, researchers, and students to learn the need, preparation and characterization of composite materials. The development of new composite materials enhance the manufacturers to survive in this present competitive environment. It will certainly help the society in
various aspects of Engineering and Technology.

COURSE CONTENTS

• Introduction to composite materials
• Preparation of Polymer Matrix Composites and Natural Fibre Composites.
• Metal Matrix Composites and Ceramic Matrix Composites
• Characterization of Composite Materials
• Welding of composite materials
• Applications of Composite materials in Automotive, Aerospace and Marine fields.
